So good! I love the vibe of this place and their food is really good and I can’t imagine Seattle without it. Spacious, bright, and the service is great. They have a couple bathrooms, heaters situated outside. I wouldn’t recommend getting an espresso but they do mixed drinks exceptionally well and their food is delicious.
This place is absolutely lovely! I stopped in because it looked cute, and I’m so glad I did! Very friendly staff, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and delicious beverages. I got the strawberry green tea (I believe this was a special) and it was excellent. It is clear that the owners were really intentional about utilizing space in the best way— beyond the indoor part of the cafe, the outdoor area with the patio lights is so lovely and really captures the comfortable energy of the entire place. Highly recommend dropping by!
Great place with super friendly staff, but also professional and fast. Good for events and meetings too. Nice location. Food is nice, and they also have heaters outside so you can sit there when it's cold and rainy and feel comfortable
This place has consistently been delicious. I think their hashbrowns got smaller but no prob, I'll just get two LOL support this local biz in Othello. We need them!
Their pesto breakfast sandwich is really good and they have the best peppermint mocha I've had in Seattle. I was craving it days later after I tried it the first time. Appreciate the masking and "we keep us safe" mentality. They have heated outdoor seating and small indoor seating.
*This review is for takeout* The vegan sausage breakfast sandwich with added avocado was great! Loved the flavors and the side of tater tots were very tasty. Can’t wait to visit in person as I’ve heard great things!
Great Vegan breakfast spot, everything is vegan including sauce, cookies, entrees and drinks. All sandwiches have a variety of egg and patty yummy burrito options and non-dairy milk. I recommend warming up your cookie if you get one! Outdoor and indoor seating, order at front and sit down kinda place. They give you two dollars off if you sign up for their rewards.
This place is actually incredible. Only been twice so far but it’s so good. Pesto sandwich is banging and the Mac and cheese (vegan!!) is maybe the best I’ve ever had. Definitely made with love. Will be back!
I really like Cafe Red. It’s a cozy cafe off of the Othello light rail station. My former work ordered breakfast sandwiches and I love the food. I honestly did not know it was vegan and the sausage patty was made in house. I ended up returning same day to get lunch there and a coffee. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I love the artist/community vibe and it reminds me of Chaco canyons cousin. There aren’t too many vegan places in Seattle. I used to frequent many of them from The Globe, to Araya’s, and various juice bars before they became tense and fizzled out. What I love about Cafe Red is that they make delicious food. There isn’t any trendiness. 5 stars for food, served and atmosphere.
I happened upon this spot when looking for a quick vegan meal on my way out of the city. This place is fantastic! I had the most incredible pesto breakfast sandwich on the best gluten free english muffin i have ever tasted. Also had tots and a fantastic peanut butter cookie. So tasty!! and good gluten free options for those in need. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return.
